Lori Richter has joined Spy Pond Partners

Spy Pond Partners (SPP) is pleased to announce the addition of Lori Richter to the SPP team. Lori is a Six Sigma Black Belt performance management and improvement expert. She led the implementation of a comprehensive, department-wide performance measures program and Lean Government initiative for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT). She is known within the state and nationally as a leader in the fields of organizational excellence and performance management. Most recently, she spent several years as a Lean Customer Value Consultant for a large insurance company.
Lori spent 10 years at Wisconsin DOT, where she led program development, evaluation and analytical efforts to deliver and support the Department’s transportation performance management program (TPM). She was responsible for establishing Wisconsin DOT’s Lean program, and developed a comprehensive set of tools and resources for Lean teams. She also administered research and library services and served as chair of the Wisconsin Highway Research Program. She worked with her peers in other states on the AASHTO Standing Committee on Performance Management, was Wisconsin DOT’s state representative on TRB, and served as chair of TRB’s Management and Productivity Committee.
Lori received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Affairs from the UW-Madison. She lives in a rural paradise on 35 acres with her husband, cat and chickens. In addition to being a foodie, she loves making organic soaps, traveling and spending time outdoors.
